Our Community

We train as a small group, working towards a common goal. Members support and push each other to achieve maximum results. You share in each other’s struggles and triumphs. At CrossFit Clay Center, you become part of a family.  The atmosphere of our group classes is what helps people succeed in meeting their fitness goals, and what keeps them coming back for more.

What We Do

We believe in the CrossFit philosophy. We teach basic to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic conditioning, kettle bell training, Olympic weightlifting, power lifting, gymnastics, rowing, running and jumping rope. Our members come from varied backgrounds—students, athletes, small business owners, stay-at-home moms, school teachers, nurses, and retirees.

We utilize CrossFit as our primary fitness training method, and focus our members on optimizing physical competence. We want you to be able to handle anything life throws at you.
The workouts are constantly changing, never boring, and the results are always challenging!

LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR

TURN UP
Be on time, be consistent, practice technique, learn new skills & listen to coaches.

SUPPORT OTHER MEMBERS
CrossFit is community driven. When it rains we all get wet, we may train as individuals but we workout as a community.

DON'T PUT DOWN PUT AWAY
Once we are all done, only then put your gear away. Keep chalk in the bucket.

LET COACHES COACH
It's their job to inform, instruct and coach technique.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW - ASK
Coaches are here for you all the time. Ask questions & get answers.

EAT WELL
Results reflect your nutrition and your training period. Keep it simple.

HAVE FUN
While we do take our training seriously, we want everyone to have some fun. We enjoy a laugh as much as you do.
